So this one is a love story that hits you like no other. There's a movie of the same name, made based on it as well. The story follows characters Dexter and Emma from the time they graduate from Edinburgh University. They start off as friends and the story follows their relationship and their individual lives. Each chapter is dedicated to a year of their lives. They get romantically involved with other people, Dexter even ends up getting married and having a kid but all you want is for Emma and Dexter to end up together. The book follows their story for twenty years during the course of which they do remain best friends with the occasional argument and ups and downs and this isn't a massive spoiler but, of course, they do end up together but what happens shortly after is so devastating and you never see it coming. Writing this review and remembering how I felt when I read the book just hit me hard. It is such a captivating read. You'll not only enjoy the romantic story in it, you will really love the journey the book takes you on.
So this happens to be another one of those "real", hit-you-in-the-face books. This book also happens to be a massive inspiration behind a book I'm currently writing on Wattpad.
I first heard about this book from a Favourites video by Zoella.
So this book follows the stories of a girl named Violet Markey and a guy named Theodore Finch. Each chapter in the book is from the point of view of either Finch or Violet. The two meet just as Violet is just about to jump off a building in order to end her life but somehow Finch manages to convince her otherwise. Each chapter starts off with a count. In the case of Violet's chapters, the count is a count of the numbers of days since she tried to kill herself and in the case of Finch, it's a countdown to the number of days till a significant event. If I tell you what it is, I'd be giving away a lot and spoiling it :P
Just trust me when I say that the "significant event" really hits you. This book is so so beautiful. It doesn't tell a love story the traditional way and you find yourself yelling at the book for things to happen and not happen.
Everybody I've kind of forced to read this book has fallen in love with it as well :P Even if you aren't a fan of the genre, this is definitely a must read!

Being the hopeless romantic that I am, how could I not mention this book :P
This book came up on my recommended list on Amazon and as I'm a sucker for romance novels, this one really called out to me. I had never heard of the book or the author prior to this and I cannot begin to tell you how much I fell in love with this book.
So this book is based in England around a girl named Louisa Clark and a quadriplegic named Will Traynor. Louisa belongs to a middle-class family and she doesn't have all the good things in life but is very optimistic and content with what she has. Will belongs to a rich family and was a good businessman until he was involved in a fatal accident which paralysed him from the waist below. He was the outdoorsy type guy and the accident stopped him from doing everything he loves. He became the complete opposite of Louisa, having a completely negative outlook on life. So negative that he takes euthanasia as the answer to ending all his problems. Louisa is hired as a caretaker to Will and ends up being so much more than that. The book takes you through her attempts to change Will's mind about the Euthanasia.
I don't want to give out any spoilers, let's just say that this book propelled its way to my top 10 list :P I have never cried the way I did for this book. It's again a very "real" book.
This book will definitely pull at every one of your heartstrings.

I am a massive fan of Wattpad. If you're always looking for amazing new content from aspiring writers from around the world, Wattpad is THE place for you. I love reading fan-fiction and at one point this book was a Harry Styles fan-fiction on Wattpad. I am a big, fat directioner and love all things One Direction. What I didn't realise at the time is that I would fall in love with this story, a story that went way beyond One Direction.
So this is a story about a girl named Tessa and a guy called Hardin (originally Harry Styles in the online Wattpad version). Tessa is your uptight, hardworking, goody two shoes and Hardin is everything she isn't. He's a chilled out, tatted up frat boy, your typical bad boy. Hardin isn't meant to fall for Tessa but inevitably he does and the roller coaster this book takes you, telling that story, is one hell of a ride and I'm not just saying that. This book is a four past series and trust me, you will definitely want to read every single one of them. The twists and turns are always surprising, you never see them coming.
I was reading this on Wattpad at a time when the author, Anna Todd was updating it every week and the wait between chapters used to kill me! When I heard that this book was being published, I just HAD to get my hands on a copy!
This book is being turned into a movie and I cannot be more excited!
Do give this one a read!

I am an absolute sucker for romance. I am a massive fan of movies, books and the music of the romance genre. On one of my late night quests to find a feel good, and a romantic movie I stumbled across a movie called Love, Rosie. I'm not sure why but I absolutely fell in love with it. It made me want to buy and read the book it was based on which is this one.
So the book is about two best friends, a girl named Rosie Dunne and a guy named Alex Stewart. Their relationship is a beautiful one and throughout the book, all you want is for them to end up together, but you never know if they do until the very end. The book follows their relationship and what I LOVE about this book is the way Cecilia Ahern did this. The entire book is made up of communication between the two, in the form of texts and letters and emails. So you follow their journey from each perspective through all this which makes it so different and so much more enjoyable.
The book has a very "real" feel to it and what I mean by that is Cecilia Ahern does an amazing job in depicting a love story, just the way it is in real life. Sometimes what you want doesn't happen always happen but in the end, if it's meant to be, things will always work out. Whatever happens, happens for good.
This is definitely a book for all you hopeless romantics out there!

Girl Online is the debut novel by the absolutely amazing Youtuber, Zoella.
I have to admit that I initially bought the book only because I have been a massive Zoella fan for a couple of years now. When I read what the book is about, it sounded like something I wouldn't usually buy but I have to say I really did enjoy it!
The book is about a girl named Penny Porter who writes an anonymous blog about her life and problems she faces. The book follows her on a trip to New York where she meets a boy named Noah, with whom she falls in love with. Noah happens to be quite famous in the music world and when people come to know about her relationship with Noah, her blog goes viral. There are a few surprises that come along.
The book was accused of being written by a ghostwriter. I'm not sure if that's true but if you're a fan of Zoe you will notice that it's a very Zoella book, which I loved.
All in all, this was a very heartwarming book. It leaves you wanting more, which is why I couldn't wait for its sequel!
Do tell me what are your thoughts on book below! :)
